Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has set the tone for this year’s Christmas festivities with his latest single titled Oofeets) which features Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame.
The Oofeets) video has excerpt visuals from the ‘This is Tema health walk’ organized by Sarkodie ahead of his ‘This is Tema’ outdoor concert’ that was staged in October 2019.
Oofeets) is a Ga language phrase which literally means ‘over doing something’.
The video was directed by The Boldz.
BRIEF REVIEW OF SARKODIE’S Oofeets) VIDEO
The video includes a lot of people, most of which were attendees of Sarkodie’s health walk that he organized last month. It can be considered a good thing to involve a lot of people in the video because of popularity, almost everyone whose face came clear in the oofeets) video will talk to family and friends about and also share it on social media which will then increase the video’s reach on social media.

Additionally the video shows consistent interactions between the BET award winner and ‘ordinary’ people to perhaps indicate his love for his fans and to also bring about a fresh breath in his videos taking that most of his videos have elements of prestige and classiness attached to them.
From the security perspective, it’s wrong for Sarkodie to mention his residential area to his supposed enemies in way that he is ready for their attack.
What perhaps might be the music videos biggest black spot and very controversial issue is Sarkodie’s line where he alludes that he is sitting on God’s right hand sipping Club beer. It won’t be surprising to see this become the bane of media and public debate in the next few days.
