The Head of Communications at Menzgold, Nii Amarh Amarteifio has disclosed when the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah will return to Ghana as its reported he won a court case in Dubai few days ago.
Nana Appiah Mensah alias NAM 1 is said to have landed in Dubai sometime in December hoping to retrieve some $39 million owed Menzgold by the Dubai-based company, Horizon Royal Diamonds DMCC, for the supply of gold but was arrested following a report to security authorities by a Dubai based company that he could be connected to an alleged botched gold business with a Ghanaian company, one of whose officials was known to him.
But on April 9, 2019 according to NAM1’s Spokesperson the embattled CEO was pronounced not guilty by Dubai court and ordered the company that filed the fraud case against NAM1, Royal Horizon to pay him his 39 million dollars.
However, PRO of Menzgold, Nii Amarh Amarteyfio speaking in an interview on Accra-based radio station Okay FM, said his boss(Nana Appiah Mensah) is not returning to Ghana soon because, monies owed him(NAM1) has not being paid and for that reason, has to wait for some time.
“Nana Appiah Mensah is not coming to Ghana soon because all those owing him have not paid him yet and its not because he has won the court case in Dubai so he is running from Dubai to Ghana empty handed. He knows some are waiting on Ghana to receive their monies they invested into Menzgold.”
